Scenes from John Waters’ Female Trouble (1974)

The following clips represent some of my favorite scenes from Female Trouble. In the first clip, Divine (Dawn Davenport) has an argument with her parents… on Christmas! In the second, Edith Massey (Aunt Ida) is troubled by her straight hair-dressing son named “Gator.” And in the third, one of my favorite lines in a John Waters movie spoken by Mink Stole (Taffy). If you haven’t seen this film, it is a riot. The movie (and these clips) are a must-see.
